Below are some common courtesies that are periodically brought to our attention by participants:

Scents – Please refrain from wearing cologne/perfume or scented lotion at class due to the possibility of some participants being highly allergic or has asthma (note: aromatherapy used in some Z-Box classes).

Talking – During Class Please refrain from talking during class so that all participants can benefit fully in their class without any distractions.

Sick – Please do not come to class sick. We take health and fitness seriously and attending a class while sick jeopardizes not only your health, but all of us. Please stay home while you are sick.

Make-Up Class Each registered participant is allowed one (1) make-up per session. You may attend any other class for your make-up as long as you have prior approval by emailing Debbie (Co-Director of Fitness Motivators) lim761@gmail.com with the class you are making up and the class/date you plan to attend. You have the entire, current session in which you are enrolled in to complete your make-up class.
When you are taking a make-up class, please provide the instructor with a copy of your approved email (by Debbie) and the instructor will log you in on the make-up sheet. This is to avoid confusion when participants take a make-up class outside of their registered session. We cannot honor your make-up class without Debbie’s written approval.

Facility Closure – If the facility is closed where you are taking your class(es) and the closure is out of our control (e.g., a water pipe leak, bad weather), or the instructor is absent without a sub to conduct class (because of an emergency or illness), the class will be added to the end of the current session or you will receive an email from the city/school that you are registered with.

Bringing a Guest – We love having your guests come in for a workout! There are TWO ways for you to bring a guest to class: We have DROP-INS Fees at some of our locations. You can invite as many guests as you wish, however, they will have to pay the Drop-In price. The locations that have a Drop-In Price will no longer accept guest trying out the class for free. One guest is allowed per session and in the class that you are registered in (your guest is only allowed “one free pass” and cannot be a “repeated guest” at every session or other classes). You must email Debbie at lim761@gmail.com with the class you are registered in and the name of your guest that will be attending your class with you before your guest is allowed in your class. Fitness Motivators classes are scheduled in sessions.

Our Mission is to promote the maximum increase in fitness in the shortest most EFFICIENT manner, while keeping Safety as our Number One concern. We strive to offer a fun, quality fitness program to get you motivated and help you achieve your fitness goals. We try to change the routines in each class, to expedite maximize benefits for your overall fitness level. Adding our program to your health and fitness plan is just one of the many facets of a complete fitness program.

COMMIT TO BE FIT! Make sure to schedule your workouts as you would any other meeting or important event. When you establish a date and time to exercise, you are less likely to cancel your plans and bail on your workout.

Starting the Fall of 2011, our Fall and Winter classes, will now have a one week break in-between each session. This will reserve one week for us… In case we have to make up a class, if the school (or building) closes or the Instructor had an emergency and we could not supply a sub.

      Hi Kathy, no problem. If you go a little earlier, they will be having a 15 minute demo of the new class that is taking the place of the Zumba class during the summer. Thanks for letting us know. Have a great weekend.
